The Glass Fire Guard Company specialises in the design and manufacture of glass fire guards that complement your fire place and enhance the focal point provided by an open fire. Our glass fire guards suit both contemporary and period fireplaces and are available in a variety of designs - you can download a brochure here. We have three basic ranges, “Minimalist”, "Wings" and "3-Sided Square", each made to measure to suit your own fire place.
The Minimalist range is plain and simple, and comes with square or rounded corners. You can also add a hand hold and bottom vent. The Wings range makes much more of a statement and is a work of art in itself. The 3-Sided Square range dispenses with feet and fittings, being pure, simple glass. A bottom vent can also be added to these designs. Our feet are engineered from heavy grade stainless steel (not lightweight turned aluminium). They can be ordered in a variety of designs and finishes - look here for more details. Please contact us with any special requirements. All our fire guards are made from top quality 10mm thick toughened glass (8mm for the 3-Sided Square range), tempered to BS6206. We believe this gives a superior finished product compared to using 6mm. Tinted glass is also available, and we are happy to take on specialised commissions (for example parallel to wall fitted guards, glass fire places, etc). |
