Measuring up
Generally, we recommend that the
glass be ordered to overlap at each side of the fire
place surround by a few centimetres, and that a space be
left at the top between the top edge of the fire guard
and the top of the fire place opening. This is
illustrated in the diagram, showing two common fireplace
designs.
