Tabletop fire
 |
Many people place a picture,
mirror, and often these days a flat panel television, above a
fire. The rising heat can cause damage.
Hole in the wall fireplaces
are also increasingly popular, and a glass mantle or shelf can
add to the overall effect whilst keeping the clean and
contemporary lines of such an installation.
We can supply glass
shelves or glass mantles to go above fires (or for any other purpose),
and specialise in larger sizes that are often difficult to
source elsewhere. A typical size would be 1.5m long x 15cm
deep, in 8mm, 10mm or 12mm toughened glass.
We can of course supply
any size or thickness of glass, with square or rounded corners,
and can also supply the necessary shelf fixings, which can be
buried in the wall so only the glass shows. We can also
make cut-outs in the glass as shown below, to shape around the
bracket so that again it fits flush to the wall.
